Did you know that you DON’T need to shell out hundreds of dollars for a business logo, especially when you’re just starting your business?
When I first started my business journey, my brother-in-law advised me to design an icon and then have a graphic designer convert it into a digital format.
Since he happens to be an artist, I asked him to craft the initial icon. Then, I hired a logo designer on Fiverr who charged me a minimal amount (under $50) to digitize the icon and provided all the files I would need for print and online use.
To complete the logo, I turned to Canva where I combined the icon with my business name. This logo has since found its way onto my website, business cards, thank you cards, and email signature.
In this newsletter, I want to share 3 ways of inexpensively creating a business logo.
- Fiverr Logo Designer: Like the story I shared earlier, you can hire a Fiverr logo designer. They can create a logo/icon from scratch or bring your existing design ideas to life.
You only need to share a handful of business details, such as your brand colors, business name, tagline, and what products or services you offer.
- Canva: You can take the digitized Fiverr icon and craft a logo on Canva yourself or skip Fiverr altogether and create your own logo.
Please note: While it’s possible to create your logo on Canva without hiring a designer, Canva may retain exclusive rights to the graphics you use. This could prevent you from trademarking your logo in the future.
To avoid potential issues, I opted to create an original icon graphic.
- Hire a Virtual Assistant: If dealing with a Fiverr designer or learning a new software application, like Canva, doesn’t appeal to you, consider hiring a virtual assistant.
We’re here to assist you with tasks like logo creation.
How often have you struggled with the excessive cost of creating a business logo?
If your answer is “quite frequently,” this is your reminder that there’re other options!
Creating a business logo doesn’t have to drain your bank account!
I promise!
