I was born and raised in Miami, and like most people from my hometown, I grew up cheering for the University of Miami Hurricanes. While I wasn’t a die-hard football fan, when I did cheer, it was for the orange and green… that is, until my daughter decided to attend Florida State University in Tallahassee.
